Uganda “the pearl of Africa” is a land of distinction, endowed with unmatched wildlife, serene undulating hills covered with varied flora, the savannah jungle largely inhabited by several species of antelopes and rain forest with the musical accompaniment of birdlife. Uganda is lively with these contrasts: yet silent elephants, disappearing like a vapor behind the trees, the chimpanzees crashing about the forest canopy, and the gentle giant mountain gorillas chewing thoughtfully in the bamboo thickets. Discover the distinctive wilderness when you choose to travel with limitless Tours and travel Uganda.
BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Thisis Uganda’s foremost tourist attraction and indeed one of the most fascinating wildlife encounters involving mountain gorilla tracking in the remote rain forest of western Uganda. These magnificent wild animals are found exclusively in Bwindi and virunga conservation areas (home to roughly half of the world’s mountain Gorillas). Looking deep into the expressive brown eyes of these giants is surely the most exciting and emotional wildlife encounter that Uganda has to offer, but we should not let it distract you from Bwindi’s broader bio-diversity of over350 birds,310 butterflies, 51 reptiles and 120 other mammals including 11 primates, such as the black and white Colobus, common chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s Monkey, red tailed Monkeys and the well known vervet Monkey.
